With the 1st quarter of the year coming to a close, I dive into my top 5 favorite UFC Knockouts of the Year to date!!
#5 Viacheslav Borshchev vs. Dakota Bush
Nothing satisfies me more than a well-executed liver shot. If you have never experienced absorbing one, consider yourself lucky. I can’t really explain how it feels. Your body just turns off and your soul falls to the deepest pit of your stomach. Viacheslav “Slava” Borschev throws a pinpoint left hook and that crumbles Dakota “Hairy” Bush like dry cornbread.
THE FIRST FINISH OF 2022!!! 🔥

#4 Ilia Topuria vs. Jai Herbert
After being floored by a fierce head kick in the 1st round, Ilia “El Matador” Topuria comes out the gates like a raging bull in the 2nd. Backing Jai “The Black Country Banger” Herbert up to the fence with a ferocious flurry. Herbert lands a counter left hook, but Topuria anticipates it. Biting down on his mouthpiece and nearly decapitating him with an overhand right.
PERFECT right hand by @Topuriailia put him to SLEEP 😳 #UFCLondon pic.twitter.com/zIv27aUg0O

#3 Song Yadong vs. Marlon Moraes
After a short feeling out process these two marauders started to trade. Song “The Kung Fu Monkey” Yadong slips under Marlon “Magic” Moraes’s jab while throwing an overhand right. With Moraes unable to get his lead hand back in position for defense, Song Yadong uncorks a devasting uppercut. Starching Moraes like a pair of khakis in East Los Angeles.

#2 Azamat Murzakanov vs. Tafon Nchukwi
Im a sucker for the comeback. Tafon ‘Da Don” Nchukwi was well in control after the first two rounds of this fight. With nothing to lose, Azamat “The Professional” Murzakanov unleashes an explosive combination ending with a flying knee that absolutely flattens Nchukwi.

#1 Molly McCann vs. Luana Carolina
This was a fairly one sided beatdown by Molly “The Meatball” McCann. Luana “Dread” Carolina put some good combos together late in the fight, but McCann was able to secure a highlight reel finish.
This was no lucky shot. During an exchange, McCann positions herself and guides Carolina into a nasty spinning elbow. Leaving Carolina limper than guys who don’t read Men of Order.
This knockout topped my list because of her execution and reaction.
