Chlorophytum Borivelianum

Chlorophytum Borivelianum (CB) posses immunomodulatory & adaptogenic properties and has been traditionally used to cure impotency, sterility, and enhance male potency. Mayank in his study "Aphrodisiac Activity of Some Ayurvedic Herbs in Male Albino Rats" found that animals treated with 200mg/kg of body weight of CB enhanced penile erection and reduced hesitation time. Kenjale found supporting findings in the study "Effect of Chlorophytum Borivilianum on Sexual Behavior & Sperm Count in Male Rats." he found that rats treated with CB in doses of 125mg/kg or 250mg/kg had increased libido, sexual vigor/arousal and that after 60days sperm count was increased significantly. It was concluded that CB can be used to treat premature ejaculation & low sperm count.

Mondia Whitei

Mondia Whitei is traditionally used to increase libido & management of low sperm count. The study "The in vitro Effects of Mondia Whitei on Human Sperm Motility Parameters" completed by Lampiao, found that mondia whitei siginficantly increased total motility and progressive motility of human sperm. Another study "Aphrodisiac activity of Vanda tessellata (Roxb.) Hook. ex Don extract in male mice." discovered that in doses of 50mg/kg or 200mg/kg that mondia whitei increased male performance and increased the odds of successful proceation in rat subjects. Thus confirming that mondia whitei significantly increases sperm motility in those with low motility.

Lepidium Meyenii (Maca)

Lepidium Meyenii is better known as maca. Native to Peru, maca is commonly known for its fertility-enhancing properties. Bo Lin in his study "Effect of a Lipidic Extract from Lepidium Meyenii on Sexual Behavior in Rats" found that oral administration of maca increased the number of successful intromissions in rats with erectile dysfunction. Gonzales discovered that after doses 1500mg or 3000mg for 8 weeks that men experienced an increase in sexual desire, but did not change serum testosterone levels.

Fadogia Agrestis

Belonging to the Rubiaceae family, fadogia is known to have significant aphrodisiac potential. Yakubu tested fadogia in concentrations of 18, 50, 100mg/kg for 28 days on rats. After the 28 days all dose groups saw significant increases in percentage testicular function/activity. The best recoveries were made in the 18mg dose group. The rats also saw an increase in serum testosterone levels which led to more masculine behaviors and aphrodisiac effects.

Eurycoma Longifolia (Tongkat Ali)

Tongkat Ali is a plant native to Indonesia & Malaysia. It is known for its ability to increase male virility and sexual prowess. The study "Evaluation of Potency Activity of Aphrodisiacin Eurycoma Longifolia" found that Tongkat Ali increased penile reflexes in rats.
