Workout by Cassius Cam
Today's workout is a full-body dumbbell routine guaranteed to build muscle and stamina simultaneously, especially for people with time constraints.
Equipment Needed
- Dumbbells (pick a moderate weight you can control)
Warm-Up
Get started with a 10-minute warm-up consisting of 30-second intervals of stationary high knees, butt-kickers, jumping jacks, and lunges. Follow this with a 5-minute dynamic stretch.
Exercise
Holding the dumbbells by your side, perform a burpee. You are using the dumbbells as handles to do the push-up. Spring to your feet with the dumbbells in the “Arnold Press” position and perform a squat.
At the top of the squat perform an Arnold press. This is one repetition.
The goal is 200 repetitions as fast as possible.
Time yourself so you have a goal to beat the next time you do this WOD.
Benefits
This workout is excellent for building functional strength and mobility. Adding free weights to calisthenics is also very challenging for your core.
Get your mind right before you start, this WOD is an absolute banger.
