Terrace Marshall, WR, Carolina Panthers
Rostered in 0.7% of Fantasy Leagues
Though the Panthers lost in last week's thriller against Atlanta, their offense looked the best it has been in a while. With PJ Walker expected to get the nod at QB for the rest of the year, the Panthers offense may be in for a pretty strong finish to end the season. Granted, The Falcon’s secondary was really banged up, but it still isn’t an overreaction to believe in this Panthers offense, and their receivers for that matter.
Terrace Marshall was targeted a season high nine times against Atlanta, and he caught four of them for 87 yards. The second year man out of LSU may have just established himself as PJ Walker’s number two receiver behind DJ Moore. The Panthers will still be a run heavy offense, but if Walker is able to prove consistency to Steve Wilkes and the rest of the Panther’s coaching staff, then he might just get more opportunities to throw and spread the ball around.
Marshall and the Panthers will be facing the Bengals, who just got demolished by Jacoby Brissette and the Cleveland Browns, next week at home.
Dontrell Hilliard, RB, Tennessee Titans
Rostered in 7.5% of Fantasy Leagues
I assume we’re all familiar with the Titan’s RB1, but Dontrell Hilliard can still stay on your Fantasy Team even if Henry is healthy.
So far across six games, Hilliard has caught 13 of his 17 targets for 145 yards and three touchdowns. Hilliard has basically designated himself as the Titan’s primary “receiving back,” and that can be worthy for some deep PPR leagues. In fact– besides last week– He hadn't rushed for over twenty yards this year, yet Hilliard has only scored under five points once. Hilliard would be considered boom or bust because his production/opportunities in the running game is cloudy; however, last week against the Texans, Hilliard ran for 83 yards on eight carries. His eight carries fully jumped his previous total of six.
If you pick up Hilliard off waivers, he isn’t start worthy unless Henry is hurt or you are in major need of a running back, but he is someone you’ll want to stash because we know he will get his chances through the air.
Greg Dulcich, TE, Denver Broncos
Rostered in 34% of Fantasy Leagues
Greg Dulcich has seen his role increase week by week in Denver.
Since making his season debut in week six, Dulcich has scored double digits in every game this year. The Rookie Tight End has caught 12 of his 17 targets for 182 yards and a touchdown, and he is already the number 30 Fantasy Tight End despite playing only three games this year. I mentioned it previously, and I’ll say it again: unless you have both Mark Andrews and Travis Kelce, there is a high chance you need some help at the TE spot.
Even though his sample size is small, Dulcich has proved that he can be a number one guy in many Fantasy Leagues. Unless you are good on Tight Ends, Dulcich should be your number one priority on the waiver wire.
