"Money can't buy you happiness." While this is true to an extent, money is still a useful tool in which you can achieve happiness. If you learn to use it to your advantage, you can gain control of your life and achieve financial freedom.
If someone tells you that money isn't important, they are a fool. Money is extremely important and if a man doesn't have a good relationship with money, then he most likely doesn't have a good relationship with the other parts of his life.
A man is responsible for providing for his family, which means he has to be able to buy food and shelter. Guess what? All of these things require money.
We are no longer in the days of the caveman, where you went out to hunt food and eventually return back in the evening to your piece of land.
In today's world, we rely on the supermarket for our food, and we are responsible for monthly rent or mortgage payments.
Oh, and taxes...
If you don't educate yourself on finances, the you are setting yourself up for failure. Educate yourself so you have complete control of your life and happiness.
Why Having Money is Good
“The best thing money can buy is financial freedom” – Rob Berger
Having control of your finances is the ultimate cheat code for life. We live in a society that is founded on money, so it is important to understand the system that you are in, especially when it feels like its against you.
The public education system failed to teach our young minds about finances and how the "real world" works, which is why it is so important to educate ourselves on how the monetary system actually works.
Having money allows you to have better options in your life and gives you the freedom to spend time on the things that are most important to you.
Financial Freedom
“The goal isn’t more money. The goal is living life on your terms.” –Chris Brogan
A lot of time people people get stuck at a job they hate because of the financial burden they have placed on themselves. Whether it was running up credit cards, buying a fancy new car, or buying too much house, a lot of people end up in financial situations they regret.
Having money allows you to do what you want, when you wan't. If you want to live life on your terms, then you need to build financially.
If you hate your job, but then magically a million dollars appeared in your bank account, you'd quit that shitty job, right? Well, while this is highly unlikely, its the concept that you need to keep in mind. If you don't like your boss, you can tell him some not nice words and then leave. The money doesn't matter.
If you work hard, make wise investments, and take care of your finances, then you can ultimately obtain that financial freedom and do what you want. Having money allows you to make easier decisions such as changing jobs, moving to a different state, or following your passion.
Along with this, if you have financial freedom you can also spoil yourself. Buy a nice car, go on nice vacations, etc. Just make sure that you take care of the necessities first.
Also, most women don't like broke guys. Women are seeking safety and security in a man. They want to be loved and taken care of. As I mentioned earlier, we are no longer cavemen with spears and stones.
Money is the new weapon for safety and security, so make sure you have plenty of it.
Wealth Creation
"You either master money, or, on some level, money masters you.” – Tony Robbins
As I mentioned earlier, financial stress is something that far too many families have to deal with. If you are struggling, then creating financial security to get rid of that stress is a necessary move you have to make.
Not having to worry about where your next meal is coming from or worrying about the monthly bills is a dramatic change that will ease your life decisions.
Planning for your future is absolutely necessary, so you have to be thinking about passive income. Having money to invest will drastically change your life.
Whether its real estate, the stock market, or cryptocurrency, you need to find a way to create wealth.
Obtaining wealth will allow you to create new life experiences and explore all the things you've ever imagined.
Most people don't want more money, they want more time to do what they want with their life.
With that being said, money is the tool that will allow you to live life on your terms. If you can master money then you can master your life.
Along with this, you want to be able to provide your family, or future family, with better opportunities. It could be better education, better healthcare, or better housing. Whatever the case is, you want to be able to leave your kids with a better start than you had.
A lot of people start out struggling and can never break their generational curse. Make sure that you are the first to do so, and then continue to provide your family with a better future.
Can Money be Bad?
"Mo' Money, Mo' Problems" - Biggie Smalls
If you don't have control over your time and money then it will control you.
With that being said, it is important that you don't let money control every aspect of your life.
You don't want to end up ruining relationships with friends, family, or even yourself due with an obsession. While some sacrifices are necessary, it is easy to ruin relationships if your only focus is acquiring money.
If you find yourself working crazy hours and feeling worn-out, you may need yo reevaluate your situation. Remember that life is short, so don't go working your life away.
Make sure you have a healthy balance between your loved ones and your money. However, with that being said, don't find it surprising if people start becoming your best friends once you start doing well financially. Make sure you have healthy boundaries so you are able to live normally.
Money can be bad, or money can be good.
Money is a tool, its all about how YOU use it.
