After what will go down as arguably one of the greatest weekends in the history of the NFL, there are now four teams left with eyes set on the Super Bowl. During this past week you saw John, Chad, AG, and I break down every single possible angle for these two games, whether that be with analytics or a tin foil hat.
Chiefs -7 vs Rams O/U 54.5
Ant of Men of Order said it best, this year just so happens to be the year of the Tiger. The Bengals have proven that so far. They are 7-2 against the spread as the road team which benefits them as the game will be in KC. They also boast a 7-3 against the spread record as underdogs. Kansas City on the other hand, may win a lot but they do not cover the spread a lot. They sit at 10-9 against the spread overall and 6-5 at Arrowhead. I think all that combined leans heavily towards the Bengals this weekend and that is what I will go with. I like the Bengals +7.
Rams -3.5 vs 49ers O/U 45.5
So far this season the 49ers have been victorious in both meetings between these two. Kyle Shanahan has his boys looking right going into this one. The 49ers seemed to have found their peak at the perfect time. They are 5-1 straight up in their last 6 road games as underdogs. The Rams are 4-4 at home against she spread. I think that this game will come down to the very end. The Rams tend to give up big scores in the second half of their games. However, when teams play multiple times in a season it is hard for one side to sweep the other. In the Men Of Order video I said that I would be taking the Rams moneyline because I felt they would win in a close one. I still am giving them that lean, however I will be picking 49ers +3.5 because it still allows for that outcome but has better odds and better return.
