UFC Fight Night Thompson Vs. Holland Picks

UFC Fight Night: Thompson Vs. Holland - Picks, Predictions and Breakdown

The Amway Center, in Orlando, Florida - hosts this weekend's UFC Fight Night. Not to sound like a shill, but if they wanted to make this card a half price pay-per-view I'd go for it. It's got some of our favorite fighters in a larger octagon in front of a rowdy Florida crowd. Expect lots of finishes and highlight reel moments.

Shooey's in Orlando?

Tai "Bam Bam" Tuivasa meets Sergei Pavlovich this weekend in the home of the Orlando Magic. This is an interesting fight, because Tai is a major fan favorite, as you may remember his shooey celebrations, and Pavlovich is an up-and-comer with a sick resume and record. You may remember UFC 281, when fan favorite Molly McCann stepped in against prospect Erin Blanchfield, and all of McCann's hype was essentially handed over to the girl who bested her. It looks like the UFC may be setting up a similar outcome this weekend by using Tuivasa's name to build Pavlovich up. Will this pan out for the UFC? You can get our picks for this fight on this week's episode.

A Couple of Stand-Up Guys

In the main event we see Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson take on Kevin Holland. A lot of fans enjoy these fighters for various reasons, besides the fact that they are both incredible kickboxers. Wonderboy is a nice dude that runs a karate school for kids and never has a bad word to say about anyone, even his opponents. On the flip side theres Kevin Holland AKA Big Mouth. Kevin never stops talking, even when he's on his back getting out-wrestled. He moved down to welterweight earlier this year after a string of losses at middleweight, and Wonderboy is a big step up compared to the other welterweights that he's been facing since the move. Expect a fun kickboxing match and a tight fight, as the line is even at -110 right now.
